This product is a non-ionic etherified cellulose, primarily used as: A film-forming agent for coating、An emulsifier, suspending agent and stabilizer for gels and ointments Typical concentration: 2%-10%. As a binder in tablet granulation typical concentration 1%-5%. As a thickening agent in eye drops and artificial tears typical concentration: 0.45%-1.0%.

It also prevents particle agglomeration or gel formation to avoid precipitation.

Hydroxypropyl methylcellulose (HPMC) is widely used in both oral and topical pharmaceutical preparations. Low viscosity grades: Serve as binders for dry or wet granulation, film coating materials, or for manufacturing plant-based capsules High viscosity grades: Function as sustained-release matrix materials for tablets or capsules, effectively delaying drug release.
